Friday's 4-3 loss was only the Angels’ third one-run loss of the season. We mention this because LA is 0-9 SU after it lost by one run, getting beat by an average of 5.44 runs per game. The Red Sox, on the other hand, are 7-0 in the second game of a series at home coming off a game as favorites in which they scored first, trailed and won -- and it is before the All-Star break. Boston has won these seven games by an average of 4.57 runs.
