Cubs vs Dodgers Game 1

After having yesterday’s game postponed, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs will open a three-game set in the Windy City today with a double-header. In the afternoon game, Clayton Kershaw will take the ball for the Dodgers as he looks to help Los Angeles win back-to-back games for the first time since April 17. The Dodgers began the season 13-2, but have gone just 4-10 since then. However, a 16-4 win on Sunday over the Milwaukee Brewers might be just what this offense needed to get back on track. This afternoon, the Los Angeles hitters will get to face-off against Kyle Hendricks for the Cubs–a pitcher who has struggled mightily in the early part of 2021.
